I usually post dinner on the Sunday Supper blog but today I decided to feature an appetizer! This may help you more as we are in the season of get togethers and parties. This easy appetizer is delicious and I actually searched for it after enjoying it at a recent party I went to. It’s festive and yummy and you know me, EASY to make! Hope it will make planning your get togethers a little easier this holiday season! Your guests will love it! I found it on the Cooking with Curls site.

INGREDIENTS
- 12 Ounce package frozen cranberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 6 green onions (chopped)
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves (chopped)
- 1 jalepeno pepper (seeded and finely chopped)
- 1 Tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 8 Ounce package cream cheese (regular or dairy-free)
- assorted crackers
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place cranberries and sugar into the bowl of a food processor.
- Pulse until coarsely chopped.
- Place cranberries and sugar into the bowl of a food processor.
- In a medium bowl, stir together cranberry mixture, green onions, jalapeno, cilantro, and lime juice.
- Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
- When ready to serve, place softened cream cheese on a serving plate. Using a slotted spoon, drain salsa and pour over the top of the cream cheese.
- Serve with assorted crackers.
