Day 20: Write a thank you note and/or bring a treat to your local firehouse.
The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit. ~Nelson Henderson
Having a good, dependable fire department is something that most of us take for granted. If there is a fire, a car accident, or a cat stuck in a tree, we often just assume that the help that we need will be there within a few minutes. Today, take time out of your day to write a thank you note, have your kids write notes and drawings, and add some homemade treats to drop off at the local firehouse–it’s a small way to let these heros know how much they’re appreciated.
